Upcoming Jam: Friends of the Chicago River Fundraiser

Jammin' with Jane is hosting a fundraising event in support of Friends of The Chicago River and their efforts to improve the health of plants and animals within the ecosystem. The event will include brunch, a silent auction, live entertainment, and three hours of bowling! Bring your family out to support Friends of The Chicago River!

Jammin with Jane is an annual fundraising event, hosted by Columbia College Chicago's Special Events and Promotions students. Since 1991, the event has raised over $100,000, supporting nearly 20 non-profit organizations. Led by Columbia College instructor, president and founder of The Eventors, Inc., Jane Canepa, Jammin with Jane also functions as a learning tool. Serving as a final exam, students collaborate to create, plan, promote, and execute the event in its entirety. Jammin with Jane has received media recognition on NBC 5 Chicago, WGN 9 Chicago, and various Chicago-based print publications. The Jam is celebrating 25 years in 2016.

Tickets are $22 advanced and $25 at the door. Children ten and under get in for $10!

Friends of the Chicago River’s mission since 1979 has been to improve the health of the Chicago River system for the benefit of people, plants and animals. By doing so, they've laid the foundation for the river to be a beautiful, continuous, and easily accessible corridor of open space in the Chicago region.
